Who Can Be Paid Under Oklahoma Family Caregiver Pay
Under CD-PASS the member recruits and hires the personal services assistant, and that person may be a relative — an adult son or daughter, a sibling, a grandchild, a niece or nephew, or a friend. The assistant must be an adult who can perform the tasks and who passes the required screening.
A spouse or a legal guardian is normally excluded as a legally responsible person, but Oklahoma Human Services can approve one by policy exception when no other qualified provider is available, with extra case-manager monitoring attached to that approval.
Every program also requires the caregiver to pass a background check and, in most states, a short training, and to keep timesheets that match the approved care plan.

Yes, VA routes are available in Oklahoma as an alternative or in some cases alongside Medicaid.
